It finally feels like Spring has come through and that means Wedding Season is up and coming. Beauty & Bridal isn't what I typically do on myself, but I love creating such romantic looks on models and clients. Liz (model) and I created this peachy and pink blushing bride look. I kept the finish more natural to showcase her natural beauty, especially those freckles-it's unfair, really.
Using a small amount of the @kristoferbuckle 'Fair' foundation stick on a @Smithcosmetics 115 brush and blended with a damp sponge. This foundation has really nice, build-able coverage, but I really wanted Liz's freckles to shine through. Concealing underneath her eyes with @AnastasiaBeverlyHills 'Soft Light' creme concealer, set with translucent powder.
On a Smith 112 brush I applied a peach & pink shade from my @morphebrushes 9N blush palette. Setting and dampening the face with the @KristoferBuckle Power Lock setting spray. While the face is still damp on a mini @RealTechniques damp sponge I used @LoracCosmetics 'Starlight' illuminator, a favorite of mine for making fair skin glow. Setting the face once more to rid her of any powder-like texture.
Using @AnastasiaBeverlyHills 'Chocolate' Pro Brow Powder to fill in her natural brow and set with clear gel.
Starting with @MACCosmetics 'Soft Ochre' paint pot to prime the eyes. Setting the primer and highlighting the brow bone with ABH 'Blanc &Vanilla' shadows. Blending out 'Baby Cakes' by ABH & Makeup Geek's 'Peach Smoothie' on a Smith 230 brush. Deepening the crease with @Makeupgeekcosmetics 'Petal Pusher' & ABH 'Dusty Rose.' To brighten and add shimmer to the eyes 'Shimma Shimma' by Makeup Geek was a perfect complement to the Lorac illuminator. Adding the same pigment to the inner corner and a bit under the brow.
I kept the lashes on the more natural side, Liz is wearing @Ardell_lashes 120 Demis, one of my original favorites. This style of lash leaves spaces in between the individual lashes creating a more doe-like eye.
The lips are a gorgeous satin finish. When it comes to weddings you want something that will stay all day, but liquid lipsticks can be drying, and annoying to re-apply. Lip glosses for weddings especially, depending on the consistency of the product, can be tricky, sticky & annoying. @KristoferBuckle 'Doll' lipstick is a beautiful pink shade with a fair amount of coverage. It was easy to blend and apply and won't dry out your pout if you have to re-apply.
A Huge thank you to my model, Liz (@lmuller17) for being so awesome to work with.
